Students at Beauty Base London will have the opportunity to choose from a number of courses: Intensive Basic, Intensive Advanced, Ethnic Skin Tone and Fashion Catwalk Hair Styling.

In addition to these, a unique package has now been designed which combines all four of these areas in an intensive 3-week package. The three week package comes highly recommended and will cover all aspects of make-up, including fashion, theatrical, film, television, celebrity and music. Not only is this package amazing value for money but by incorporating advanced make-up techniques, hair styling and invaluable advice on how to break into the industry, it ensures that the transition from student to professional is seamless. Like no other make-up school, Beauty Base London teaches its students to work at the fast speed demanded in the real world. The teaching style is practical focused so although there are practical exams, there is very little theory taught on the course. However a comprehensive course book, which is equivalent to NVQ level 2 (bordering on NVQ level 3), accompanies the course and clearly explains all the important theory.

From beginning to end, students will receive unparalleled perks as part of the package. For instance, at the start of the course, each student will receive a complete make up kit which not only contains products from leading brands but also includes the highest quality make-up brushes. And at the end of the course, students take part in a photo shoot with a celebrity fashion photographer, giving them the opportunity to get a professional quality print for their portfolio.

Intensive Basic & Advanced (Special Package)

Cost: £2500

The first course covers all the basics and is extremely intensive because of the amount of knowledge you will gain in one week. This will provide the prospective make-up artist with sufficient training and this is ideal for those who are interested in working in the beauty industry. The students will learn how to create all kinds of natural looks using different techniques and these looks are fresh from the catwalk shows. On graduating successfully from this course, students are encouraged to apply their skills through work experience or simply practice what they have learned. You will be given a international certificate which is approved by BABTAC and you will be ready and confident to start a new career in your chosen field. Don’t worry if you are a complete beginner, no previous experience is necessary for this course.

The second course is designed for those who have completed the intensive basic course and who wants to achieve more advanced make-up and hair instruction. This one week intensive course is known as being fun; experimenting with shapes, stenciling with bright colours and playing with different textures using grease paints and aqua colour. You will be learning the technical, creative skills required in the fashion and media business. Attendees will benefit from expert guidance and gain the technical prowess and confidence to express themselves artistically. And at the end of the course, students take part in a photo shoot with a celebrity fashion photographer, giving them the opportunity to get a professional quality print for their portfolio.
