The third course is designed as a progression from the intensive basic and intensive advanced course. You will gain extensive and comprehensive knowledge of a variety of ethnic skin tones. This course covers different skin types; alongside the history of all cultures and learning how the traditional oriental chinese or asians would like their make-up applied on their wedding day.
With the right skills there's no need to go under the surgeons knife! You will learn the secret technique's that can make the eyelids look bigger and wider. We will show you how to reconstruct the face by making the nose appear thinner or the chin to become pointer. We will use specially designed tape, which is used widely and on a daily basis in places like Japan, China and Hong Kong. These techniques are demanded mostly in Asia because of the 'flat face' appearance but the great thing about these tricks is that they still leave the natural features of the face - this is why the girls are constantly using this even when they are working in everyday life, its almost like brushing their teeth!
The Ethnic Skin Tones course is so versatile, you will also learn how the Indian brides bindi's are applied to the face on their wedding days. They love using strong coloured eye shadows or blushers to enhance their natural features and not to mention their obsession with the black liquid liner.
At the majority of photo shoot's, film or television sets, the director will want an assistant who can paint nails on the set or if they have the budget they will hire a separate manicurist, but usually there is no budget! And brides often require a good manicurist so we decided to include this knowledge in your course. I call this... The Finishing Touch!
After this course, you will have mastered make-up artistry from every aspect and feel confident working for weddings, theatre, film, television, fashion, celebrity, music and the commercial beauty industry.
